It's been around 50 days since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
And there are conflicting claims now about the possible sinking of a key ship in Russia's Black Sea fleet.
Russia says the missile cruiser Moskva was evacuated because of a fire, but a Ukrainian official says it was hit by a Ukrainian missile strike.
Eum Ji-young has more.
The governor of the Ukrainian city of Odesa claimed Wednesday that the Moskva was struck by two cruise missiles fired from Ukraine... and has most likely sunk.
The Russian defense ministry also said that the ship was damaged, according to state media, but by an explosion of ammunition on board, and said the cause of the blast is being investigated.
Russian sailors, according to Moscow, were evacuated, but the reports did not mention casualties.

Meanwhile, the same day, Russia said it's gained full control of the city of Mariupol, where it claimed more than one-thousand Ukrainian soldiers surrendered.

"In the city of Mariupol, near the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, as a result of successful offensives by Russian armed forces and Donetsk People's Republic militia units, 1,026 Ukrainian soldiers of the 36th Marine Brigade voluntarily laid down arms and surrendered."

But the Ukrainian armed forces mentioned no such surrender and said the battle in Mariupol is still ongoing.
As Western countries look to help, U.S. President Joe Biden has pledged another 800 million U.S. dollars in military assistance to Ukraine.

"The president announced and authorized another presidential drawdown of security assistance valued at up to an additional $800 million, tailored to meet urgent Ukrainian needs for today's fight, as Russian forces shift the focus of their ruthless aggression now to eastern Ukraine."

He added that the U.S. has now committed more than 3.2 billion dollars in security assistance to Ukraine and continues to work with its allies to provide additional capabilities and utilize all the available tools to support Ukraine's armed forces.
