Pokemon Diamond "Natural Talent" Hardcore Nuzlocke – Poison Types Only
I attempted a hardcore nuzlocke in Pokemon Diamond using only poison types...but with a twist. In addition to typical hardcore nuzlocke rules, I implemented additional "natural talent" rules to make the challenge EVEN HARDER. The Rules for this challenge are listed below:
Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
- fainted pokemon are considered dead and can no longer be used
- only catch first related pokemon in each area (with dupes clause)
- all pokemon must receive a nickname
- battles must be played on set mode
- no items in battle
- can't overlevel past next gym leader's or last Elite Four member's ace
Natural Talent Rules:
- no TMs or move tutor moves
- no held items in battle
- no EV training
- HMs are allowed for game progression but must be replaced prior to Elite Four
- Pokemon with trade evolutions can evolve
