The NFL has a lot of teams with bad names and teams that need a name change. A few teams in the league had franchises come from baseball teams. That includes the New York Giants name coming from the San Francisco Giants, the Detroit Lions coming from the Tigers, the Chicago Bears coming from the Cubs, the Washington Football Team coming from the Atlanta Braves, and the Pittsburgh Steelers name coming from the Pirates.
